I'm a social scientist with training in sociology and economics. My major role within the Division is to co-ordinate the social science teaching in the undergraduate medical degree course.

Research Interests
I have long standing research interests in stress and morale of general practitioners and quality of GP care, and in community care of older people and people with a disability.

- A Breath of Fresh Air. Qualitative study of the health and health care of patients with advanced COPD
