Concepts of Epidemiology - Crash Course for Professionals

10 - 14 December 2012

This is the eighth 5-day crash course in Epidemiology for those who want to lay a sound foundation to their knowledge of epidemiology, particularly as it relates to public health practice, policy and research. It is most suitable for people in the health professions, such as nurses, doctors, health promoters, health policy makers and health researchers. Social sciences, statistics and health management colleagues may also find the course useful.

Delegate feedback from the previous courses has been superlative. Usually 100% of respondents indicate that the course met (or exceeded) expectations. Some illustrative feedback is on the course website

We have 5 bursaries, sponsored by NHS Health Scotland, for Scotland-based participants working/studying in the public sector, which will be used for those who cannot raise the funding from their employers.
