Launch of the Scottish School for Public Health Research (SSPHR) - 8th March 2012
You are cordially invited to the launch and inaugural meeting of the Scottish School for Public Health Research
The Scottish School of Public Health Research aims to create world-class public health research collaborations across Scotland to develop the evidence-base for implementing effective public health policies which address national priority areas in Scotland. This launch meeting will bring together policy makers, health personnel, academics and others interested in public health issues and will provide an opportunity to engage with the main themes of the school, discuss the issues which might be addressed by new research and agree ways of working over the next year.
We would be delighted if you could join us on the 8th March from 9am -1pm at the Playfair Library, Old College, University of Edinburgh to hear more about the initiative and join the discussion.
