Career awards & research training fellowships

Fellowship funding

Possible sources of fellowship/career award funding are:

Working up an application

If you wish to locate a fellowship here in CPHS, then the first thing you should do is check the criteria of the award for which you intend to apply, to make sure you are of the background and calibre sought by the funders. Next, we strongly advise you make early contact with a member of CPHS academic research staff in a relevant research area. It is possible that very useful advice and assistance could be given towards devising a research training programme within CPHS (and if necessary further afield), and compiling your application. Such awards often include some sort of PG research degree training, usually PhD, but this is not always necessary/appropriate.
