Intercalated Honours in Epidemiology

Over a number of years CPHS has offered an intercalated honours year in Epidemiology, leading to the award of the degree Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honours in Epidemiology - B Med Sci (Epidemiology).

The honours year is available to medical students who have successfully completed the first two or three years of their MBChB course. Entry is competitive and based on previous academic performance.

Course aims:

To enhance students' understanding of epidemiological methods and provides them with the experience of using these methods in the investigation of a scientific problem.
